Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Botulinum Toxin A, commonly known as Botox, has been a trusted solution for smoothing facial lines for over two decades. Botox temporarily weakens and relaxes the muscles responsible for frown lines and wrinkles, leaving you with a smoother, fresher, and more youthful appearance.

Most clients opt for a subtle, natural enhancement with Botox, which results in softer expression lines, which explains why it’s the most sought-after cosmetic treatment worldwide. So, if you’re looking to refresh your look with minimal fuss and maximum impact, Botox might just be your best friend!

How to Arrange Treatment

Anti-wrinkle treatment is available by prescription only and requires a face-to-face consultation and approval from our prescribing nurse, Lisa, before treatment.

Lisa, with over 17 years of NHS experience, brings professional certified, reassurance to the whole process.

The most common facial areas for Anti-Wrinkle Treatment are:

Frown lines, lip lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet lines become deeper and more pronounced as we age; This is because we keep using these muscles when we laugh, frown or purse our lips.

Botulinum toxin A (Botox) has been licensed for the temporary improvement in lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet), glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows) and horizontal forehead lines.

Other areas are also commonly treated with botulinum toxin. These include Gummy smiles, Bunny lines, Smoker’s/Lip lines, Platysmal bands (turkey neck), Slimming of the jawline, chin dimpling, and Brow lifting. Another important issue that can successfully be treated with Botulism Toxin is Excessive Sweating.

How is the Treatment performed?

Botulinum toxin is injected, using a fine needle, into the target muscle to temporarily block the nerve signal, resulting in a reduction in muscle activity which can result in an improvement in the appearance of lines of facial expression. Botulinum toxin can only treat lines of expression – dynamic lines, and not static lines.
